Alberto Maria Metelli

Alberto Maria Metelli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano, working in the field of reinforcement learning. In 2025, he was awarded a FIS2 (Fondo Italiano per la Scienza) Starting Grant. He is also the co-founder of ML Cube S.r.l. and a member of the ELLIS Society.

Andrea Manzoni

Andrea Manzoni is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics (DMAT), Politecnico di Milano. His research interests include numerical simulation, uncertainty quantification, and machine learning. Since 2020, he has been teaching courses in Computational Statistics and Reduced Order Modeling. He is also responsible for several industrial research projects and serves as the principal investigator of the “DREAM” project (Reduced Order Modeling and Deep Learning for the real-time approximation of PDEs, 2024–2029), funded by the Italian Science Fund (MUR).

Giacomo Boracchi

Giacomo Boracchi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano. His primary research interests concern image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. Since 2016, he has been teaching deep learning and image processing courses at Polimi, and he is leading multiple research projects with Italian and International companies.

Rocco Mosconi

Rocco Mosconi is a Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Management Engineering of Politecnico di Milano . His research focuses on multivariate time series analysis, especially non-stationary processes and their applications in economics and finance. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Copenhagen and a consultant for institutions such as the European Central Bank, the European Commission (JRC Ispra) and ARERA. He also collaborates with several Research Observatories of the Graduate School of Management at Politecnico di Milano.
